The GSA Call To Action

There are more than 120,000 K to grade 12 schools in the U.S. alone. Schools must be active participants in global efforts to conserve resources, mitigate climate change, reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, save energy dollars, and prepare citizens to think and act in new and creative ways. No individual school or subset of schools can solve 21st century environmental and climate challenges alone. We must work together now to preserve our planet so that  future generations can thrive.

If You Are A School:

GSA Membership is open to ALL schools public and private, worldwide. Comprised of students, administrators, facility managers, business officers, faculty, staff and parents, GSA seeks to remove all obstacles for school participation. As a result, membership in the Green Schools Alliance is FREE TO SCHOOLS, based only on a commitment of environmental leadership.

If you are a Student or part of a Student Club:

Connect to other Clubs through the GSA Club Registry. Student Club Coordinators -- Faculty and Students -- can register your Club, share your efforts, and learn about what other Clubs are doing. Receive updates about student programs.

If you are an Official (or Self-appointed) Sustainability Coordinator:

If your school is not yet a GSA Member, you can still be part of the Network. Register through the GSA International Sustainability Coordinators Alliance (ISCA) to connect, share and learn with your peers. Also, find your GSA CHAPTER COORDINATORS >>
