Building Green. Features articles, reviews, and news stories on energy-efficient, resource-efficient, and healthy building practices. Building Green is an extensive resource with over 200 books, periodicals, and other resources on green building, building materials, the indoor environment, energy efficiency, site and landscape design, and other related topics. Includes a calendar of events and an extensive section of links to related sites.

Co-op America, National Green Pages. The National Green Pages™ is a directory listing nearly 3,000 businesses that have made firm commitments to sustainable, socially just principles, including the support of sweatshop-free labor, organic farms, fair trade, and cruelty-free products. The National Green Pages™ lists baby care products, organic, fair trade, flavored teas, and fuel-efficient cars for rent among the thousands of products.

National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF). Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, the NCEF provides extensive resource lists on planning, design, financing, construction, and the operation and maintenance of school facilities. The lists include links to full text publications and related Web sites, descriptions of books, studies, reports and journal articles. Specific topics pertaining to green building include daylighting, high performance school buildings, energy savings, indoor air quality, and much more.

Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy. DSIRE is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and selected federal incentives that promote renewable energy.

Green Information Resource Center for the AEC Industry. Allows those involved in environmentally-responsible construction access to news, feature articles, best practices for architecture, and product information.

Green Building Information Council - Energy and Environmental Performance of Buildings [Canada]. Canadian non-profit organization whose mission is to disseminate information about energy and environmental issues in the building sector. GBIC is a small organization with a broad range of international links.

Edutopia - Green Teacher's Resources. Students, teachers, administrators, and environmental activists have found ways to integrate knowledge and awareness of Earth's fragility into classwork and community service, carefully blending concern with action to help kids feel engaged and hopeful.
