Green Cleaning

Green Cleaning Products Addendum. This document, developed by Steve Ashkin and the Green Cleaning Network, is designed as an attachment to an existing cleaning contract. It requires no other changes to an existing contract, except to reference that these products will be used by the contractor. The products referenced in this addendum are based on the current requirements of a number of leading “green” organizations and members of the Green Cleaning Network including the US Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System (LEED-EB), Healthy Schools Campaign’s Quick & Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools, and Hospitals for a Healthy Environment’s 10 Step Guide to Implement Green Cleaning in Healthcare.

The FREE Quick & Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools simplifies the green cleaning process, and the easy-to-use FREE CD-Rom contains comprehensive information, practical advice, tools and resources to help schools take action. It also includes a purchasing guide that lists products that are consistent with HSC Green Clean recommendations.
